Xiaomi recently unveiled its latest products, including the Xiaomi 15 series smartphones, Pad 7 series tablets, Watch S4, and Smart Band 9 Pro. With these devices, the company has also quietly introduced the Redmi Band 3, a successor to the popular Redmi Band 2.

In terms of design, Redmi Band 3 looks familiar to its predecessor, Redmi Band 2. The Band is equipped with a 1.47-inch display with a 320*172-pixel resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The watch has a colorful silicone strap and is very thin and light. It’s only 9.99 millimetres thick and weighs just 16.5 grams. The new band comes with several improvements as compared to its predecessor, including Bluetooth 5.3 for enhanced connectivity, 5ATM water resistance, and NFC for contactless payments.
The Redmi Band 3 has a limitation of built-in GPS, which might affect the functionality of outdoor activities. The smart band is equipped with sports modes, along with All-Day Heart Rate Monitoring, All-Day Blood Oxygen Monitoring and Scientific Sleep Tracking.
The Redmi Band 9 comes with a 300mAh battery capacity, which can last up to 18 days on a single charge in standard mode. Users can expect it to last around 9 days with heavy usage.
Pricing and Availability
Black and Beige color options of Redmi Band 9 are available in China for 159 yuan. It is still unclear about the global launch of the device. The previous generation’s international availability suggests that the Redmi Band 3 may eventually male its way to other markets.
