Design
As per leaked images, we can see that the Oppo Find X8 series arrives with flat sides. The upcoming Oppo Find X 8 is anticipated to feature a distinct design departure from its predecessor, the Find X7. While the Find X7 boasts curved edges, the Find X8 is expected to adopt a more angular aesthetic with flat sides. This design shift marks a notable change in Oppo’s flagship smartphone series.
Camera
Oppo Find X8 comes with a round camera setup on its rear side and seems to have a similar protrusion as its predecessor. This round camera setup features a 50MP main sensor from Sony, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 3x periscope telephoto.
According to the latest rumors, the pro variant of the Oppo Find X8 will feature a quad camera system, including a powerful 10x periscope telephoto lens. This additional lens is expected to significantly enhance the device’s capabilities, allowing users to capture high-quality images from a distance. As we can see in the images of Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, the camera island is redesigned. We can see that the “H” logo moves to the center, which makes the design more attractive and symmetrical.
It’s worth noting that the camera placement on the Oppo Find X8 Pro aligns with the base model, featuring two lenses on each side of the device. This consistent arrangement suggests a cohesive design approach across both variants.
Although the Pro model currently features a circular camera module, one or both of these cameras may be prototypes being used to test different design options. It’s anticipated that both the base and Pro models will ultimately share the same camera island design. Earlier rumors suggested that the base model might adopt a flat display, while the Pro model would retain the curved display seen in its predecessor. However, the recently unveiled render confirms that this will indeed be the case.
